Recommended Use:
For oiled wood floors. For the initial treatment of hand-oiled wood floors, as well as for wood floors that have been factory pre-treated with oxidizing oils, if the use of maintenance oils is approved by the manufacturer. Not suitable for use on non-absorbent UV-oiled products.
Coverage: 350 -1,000 square feet per 1 quart bottle. Depending on absorbency of the wood.
Drying time: slightly stressable after 4-6 hours / fully stressable after 12 hours.
Maintenance Process:
For newly installed multi-layer flooring elements, as well as freshly oiled floors, clean the floor thoroughly to remove all dust and grit (sweeping, vacuuming) and apply an even coat of Oil using a lint-free cloth or a sponge, wiping off any excess oil; do not allow the oil to pool or puddle.
For existing floors with moderate wear. clean thoroughly with LOBA Hardwood FloorCleaner, if necessary prepare the surface using a floor machine fitted with mildly abrasive pads (beige/green). Allow floor to dry completely. Apply Oil.
Floors with more extensive damage may require treatment with impregnation oil. For more information about such treatment, see the LOBA floor-care instructions for oiled hardwood floors.
For larger areas the product can be applied using the SprayCleaner method. Spray Oil onto the floor, and buff the entire area using a floor machine fitted with a white pad.
