Professional Carpet Adhesive
Ultrabond ECO 185 is a latex-based adhesive that offers fast grab and quick leg development for the fast-track installation of commercial carpet. It can be used in direct-bond and double-stick carpet applications. For Interior Use Only.
WHERE TO USE
• For the installation of carpet with jute, polypropylene (ActionBac), latex-foam and sponge-rubber backings
• Residential applications (rental apartments, condominiums and homes)
• Light-commercial applications (general office areas, hotel rooms and small retail stores)
• Heavy-commercial applications (hotel lobbies, convention centers, airports and department stores)
• Institutional applications (hospitals, schools, universities, libraries and government buildings)
Coverage:
Smooth-backed carpet: 1/8″ x 1/8″ x 1/16″ (3 x 3 x 1.5 mm), U-notch – 67 to 77 sq. ft./gal.
Rough-backed carpet 1/8″ x 1/8″ x 1/8″ (3 x 3 x 3 mm), U-notch 85 to 95 sq. ft./gal.
Polymer type: Styrene butadiene latex
Solids content: 68% to 72%
pH: 9 to 10
Flash point (Tag, closed cup) – ASTM D56: > 212°F (100°C)
Flash time: 0 to 15 minutes
Working time: 15 to 35 minutes
Shelf life: 2 years
Storage temperature range: 40°F to 100°F (4°C to 38°C)
