Ultrabond ECO® 85
Standard, Quick-Grab Carpet Adhesive
Ultrabond ECO 85 is a latex-based adhesive designed for basic carpet installations. Ultrabond ECO 85 provides quick leg development and good bond strength for most carpet backing types.
WHERE TO USE
• For the installation of carpet with jute, polypropylene (ActionBac), latex-foam and sponge-rubber backings; residential mineral fibrous felt-backed vinyl sheet goods; and cork underlayment
• Interior, residential applications (such as rental apartments, condominiums and homes)
• Interior, light-commercial applications (such as general office areas, hotel rooms and small retail stores)
Coverage:
Felt-backed vinyl sheet flooring: typical trowel 1/16″ x 1/16″ x 1/16″, square-notch – 125 to 185 sq. ft. / 1 gal. (3.79 L)
Smooth-backed carpet: 1/8″ x 1/8″ x 1/16″, U-notch – 65 to 85 sq. ft. / 1 gal. (3.79 L)
Rough-backed carpet: 1/8″ x 1/8″ x 1/8″, U-notch – 85 to 95 sq. ft. / 1 gal. (3.79 L
Shelf life 2 years when stored in original, unopened packaging at 73°F (23°C)
